We meet every Tuesday at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre to socialise and pray. (A minyan is a group of ten Jews – a number we can achieve with you!) We bring siddurim (prayer books) and kippot (head coverings) so all you need to bring is yourself!
Most weeks we meet in the evening at 7pm-8pm. Ma’ariv (evening) services are short, so there will be time to hang out and we can go to the pub afterwards!
Other weeks, we meet at 7:30am-8:30 am for Shacharit (morning) service. This still has some chat time. We also have a set tefillin (and soon may have more), so this is an opportunity to try this out if you haven’t before. It’s an energising way to start your day.
These are both ways to connect with queer or leftie Jews and Hashem. We recognise things that are good in the world, to help us to fix the parts that are broken. You can make new friends, connect with your heritage, or try out something new.
Late arrival is ok. We ask that everyone follow our code of conduct.
See our calendar for the schedule of upcoming events. If you haven’t been before, please book.
